Our backstory is how we came to this next revolution.
For 30 years, Robin Reed helped to define and deliver the technology and business leadership talent for companies that have changed our world. Our references tell the story better than we do, but for context....
In 1996, everything was new: new technologies, new business models, and new market expectations. Skeptics were everywhere. Recruiters were stuck in old models while we were inventing ours. Instead, we matched force with the innovation all around us.
Over 130 early-stage companies and top-tier investors benefited from our strategic recruiting of early thought leaders. The founders and the investors were fearless - and we had to be, too.
Beginning with Apple, Microsoft, NeXT, Yahoo and General Magic, we cut our teeth. Mentored by visionary VCs, we learned alongside them.
First, it was Amazon.com before their IPO, where we helped define and recruit the first Chief Information Officer and layers of technical leadership. For AWS, we recruited the start-up leaders. These were wild times.
Google’s first VP of Engineering, ETrade’s first CTO, Netflix’s pivot team for online streaming, eBay, FedEx, Marketo, and Alibaba, and working with George Lucas’ team to build the first internet platforms for Star Wars' remote production (in Tunisia!). We were drinking from the firehose.
In 2005, Robin worked on-site 1:1 with Mark Zuckerberg to build the Facebook technical teams from 5 to 30 people. Many of those early hires are now executives leading the company.
These early Internet years were intense. The founders and CEOs depended on the early talent to evolve them into market makers. We're proud to report that every client has been a repeat client. Relationships matter.
Which brings us here today. We can’t watch this from the sidelines. This our new story.
