Get ready for a new wave of iconic companies.

The revolution is here: generative AI, transformative energy, cryptocurrency and B2B everything.

It's moving fast. New technologies, business models, market expectations. Andreessen Horowitz is right, Software Is Eating The World.

Our practice is known for differentiating our clients and investors to engage specialized talent. Technical leadership, business builders, and thought leaders. And we admit to having a soft spot for the outliers who see ahead of everyone else.

To compete for incandescent talent, it has never mattered more how your story is told, and who you choose to carry your flag.

Our Backstory

For over 25 years, Robin Reed helped to define and deliver the technology and business leadership talent for companies that have changed our world. Our references tell the story better than we do, but for context....

In 1996, everything was new: new technologies, business models, and market expectations. Skeptics were everywhere. Recruiters were stuck in old models while we were inventing ours. We chose to match force with the innovation all around us. It worked.

Over 130 early-stage companies and top-tier investors benefited from our strategic recruiting of early thought leaders. The founders and investors were fearless - we had to be, too. Those early Internet years were intense. Investors, founders and CEOs depended on exceptional talent to evolve their companies into market makers. We helped our clients make history.

Beginning with Apple, NeXT, Microsoft, Netscape, Cisco, Google, Yahoo, Palm Inc, General Magic, we cut our teeth. eBay and Etsy created new economies. Uber, too. We were there. Mentored by visionary VCs, we learned alongside them.

First, it was Amazon before their IPO, where we helped define and recruit the first Chief Information Officer and layers of technical leadership. For AWS, we recruited their start-up leaders. These were wild times.

We were drinking from the firehose. We delivered Google’s first VP of Engineering, ETrade’s first CTO, Netflix’s pivot team for online streaming, eBay, FedEx, Marketo, and Alibaba, and worked with George Lucas’ team to build the first internet platforms for Star Wars' remote production (in Tunisia!).

In 2005, Robin worked on-site 1:1 with Mark Zuckerberg to build the Facebook technical teams from 5 to 30 people. Many of those early hires are now executives leading the company.

Which brings us here today.

We can’t watch this from the sidelines. This is our new story.
